Not like the BW3 sauces I used to have. But with no sodium, it does the trick for now. Very watery. I like to put my chicken in a bowl, add sauce and shake. Since it's so watery I waste a lot of sauce to cover my chicken. If it was twice the thickness, it would be so much better. Until I find something better, I will continue to buy.
The taste of Local Folks Foods Honey BarBQue sause has the perfect blend of smokey, tangy and sweet. Best of all it is low sodium without sacrificing taste. I will be a repeat buyer.
I have used this, but it has one big drawback. If you mix in the separated oil then try to put on something as bread, by the time you put on the second piece of bread it has seeped out all over everything. Even turning upside down to put in fridge does not stop it from leaking out to get all over you, plate, counter whatever. Drain all liquid really well, then turn upside down in fridge. If lucky you can keep some on bread, crackers, whatever. Do like no sodium, so continue to buy it. May be able to find cheaper at a regular grocery though.
This is a very tasty verde sauce, it bursts with flavor. Tastes like the ingredients were harvested and bottled immediately. So fresh. Not very hot, but I have many other hot sauces that are.
Very good especially considering the zero salt! Somewhat dry but I always eat something on them like jam. I tried them with some cream cheese and sprinkled on the Mrs Dash No Salt "Everything but the Bagel" seasoning to have as a snack & that was yummy! So glad I found your market with low and zero sodium options!
It is mild. The texture is akin to a soft hard cheese like mozzarella. It doesn’t crumble like the pepper-infused option. We do typically prefer sheep and goat cheese.
Our family has enjoyed this mustard for years. When 2 jars arrived broken, Healthy Heart replaced them. I highly recommend both the product and company.
